About Cheska
My name is Cheska Anilao, I’m a storyboard artist based in Los Angeles, CA. I am an ArtCenter Alumni with the BA in Illustration - Entertainment Arts
But before all of that, I was a Solo-Licensed Skydiver. I traveled and jumped out of planes with different skydivers from around the world who often carried the most beautiful stories. I’ve met skydivers who were brain surgeons, professional surfers, humble elementary school teachers, to cross-country travelers with nothing but a car full of clothes and a magic backpack. I heard stories of how jumping out of a perfectly good airplane connected us all together. They taught me that whoever I was, whatever I did, and where ever I came from, that in the sky, we’d all fall the same way: fast.
